Finnish professor Juhani Ilmarinen will hold a speech on ageing in Europe and work ability at the "Population Aging: Challenges and Opportunities" seminar in Prague at the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE) on February 3. The first speech will take a place at 9.15 (Italy Room) and the second at 15.15 (Italy Room). Mr. Ilmarinen is a world-renowned expert on age management and Former Director of Department of Physiology of Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH). In co-operation with other experts, he has created the Work Ability Index that has been translated into 26 languages.
The topics of this international conference include, for example, population aging, demographic changes, age management and social care. The conference is held in co-operation with Active Aging Center, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, the City of Prague and Department of Demography of University of Economics in Prague.
