Finnish culture in Czech republic

In 2012 Finnish and other Nordic cultures are well present throughout the year, since Czech radio (Český rozhlas) has chosen Nordic countries for its this year's theme. ČRo 3 – Vltava –channel offers daily a wide range of programs on Nordic literature, music and other culture.

There will be a good selection of Finnish books in Czech as serials. Also Nordic writers, musicians, translators, travelers and Czechs who have moved to north will be well presented. Also Nordic theater, film, history and lifestyle will get their share of attention.

And if you don’t manage to catch the programs live, don’t forget the possibility to listen to some of the programs on the internet! Try for example search term ‚Finsko‘.
