The Maid/ Housekeeper is responsible for housekeeping, including cleaning, and maintenance of the Ambassador´s Residence as well as organizing official events such as receptions, dinners and luncheons.
The tasks also include i.a. laundering, ironing, laying the table and serving the food, hiring and supervising extra staff and other responsibilities designated by the Ambassador. In cases of maintenance work done by caretaker companies the Maid/ Housekeeper is responsible for ordering and supervising the work.
Proficiency, work experience, good cooperation skills and fluency in English and Czech languages required. Knowledge of Finnish language and familiarity with Finnish society will be an advantage.
Czech legislation and terms of employment for locally employed staff of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland will be applied to this position.
